Commissioner Fletcher had another amendment on Page 5, <br />Section 9, Powers of the Enforcement Board, and felt this should <br />read powers "and responsibilities." Also on Page 4, under <br />Section 4, where it states the record of the proceedings shall be <br />preserved for purposes of review, Commissioner Fletcher wished <br />the words "and available for public review' to be added. <br />Attorney Brandenburg confirmed this would be done. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION REFUNDING FOR MENTAL HEALTH DISTRICT BOARD NO. 9 <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, to adopt,Resolution 83-8 <br />requesting the Legislative Delegation, the Depart- <br />ment of Health and Rehabilitative Services, and <br />Mental Health District Board No. 9 to provide a <br />fair and reasonable funding formula for mental <br />health services and alcohol rehabilitation in <br />Indian River County. <br />Commissioner Fletcher stated that he would vote for the <br />proposed resolution if it says we will get all the money back <br />that we put in. <br />Commissioner Lyons noted that they only get so much money <br />and we are saying we want our fair share and want it done on an <br />equitable basis. <br />Commissioner Fletcher wished the resolution to require that <br />whatever was generated out of this County would come back here. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried 4 to 1 with <br />Commissioner Fletcher voting in opposition. <br />77 <br />JAN 19 1983 <br />Pw'K ?As € 6,4 <br />
