FEB 2 1983 8. K U, <br />Attorney Brandenburg pointed out that privately owned <br />property cannot be included within an aquatic preserve <br />without the permission of the property owner. <br />Chairman Bird directed that Commissioner Fletcher <br />proceed as requested and coordinate the efforts of the staff <br />in with their other routines. <br />DISCUSSION RE PROPOSED TREE ORDINANCE <br />Commissioner Fletcher noted that the Tree Ordinance was <br />put together a year or two ago by the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission, who forwarded it to staff with their comments. <br />Planner Janis Johnson who was working on this, no longer <br />works for the County, and Commissioner Fletcher wished to <br />have this ordinance continue to move on towards adoption. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Fletcher, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, to authorize <br />staff to formalize the proposed Tree Ordinance, <br />return it to the Planning & Zoning Commission <br />for review and ask them to send it back for <br />Board consideration as soon as possible. <br />Commissioner Lyons noted that this has already been <br />through our Planning staff, and he felt the Attorney should <br />review it before it goes back to the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission. <br />Administrator Wright stated that he will see that this <br />is coordinated and gets back to the Board promptly. <br />THE CHAIP14AN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />MARY ELLEN LAWSON PROPERTY <br />Commissioner Fletcher brought up the question of <br />50 <br />
