Short title; statutory authority; applicability. <br />(1) This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the Indian River County Emergency Services <br />Facilities Impact Fee Ordinance. <br />(2) This chapter shall apply to all of Indian River County except for that property located within the Town <br />of Indian River Shores. <br />(Ord. No. 7005-015, 5--17-051) <br />Section 1002.02. Findings. <br />In addition to those findings and determinations found in Chapter 1000, the board of county <br />commissioners makes the following findings and determinations: <br />(1) The existing emergency services system is not sufficient to accommodate anticipated new <br />development without decreasing the existing levels of service. <br />(2) Generallya€xisting revenue sources are not sufficient to fund capital improvements necessary <br />to accommodate new development. <br />(3) For impact fee calculation purposes, tThe emergency services facilities level of service standaFd <br />W thpis is .089 statioRs peF one thousand (1,000) permaRent plus weighted peak <br />$201 per functional resident for additional capital assets, <br />excluding Indian River Shores. <br />('turd.
