r <br />FEB 16 1983 <br />i <br />Commissioner Lyons asked media representatives present <br />to stress the need for able, competent members for the new <br />Code Enforcement Board and received assurance of their aid. <br />Chairman Bird felt there should be a cut-off date for <br />receipt of applications. <br />Commissioner Wodtke asked if appeals of the new Code <br />Enforcement Board would go to the Circuit Court and was <br />assured this was the case. <br />The Commissioners, having decided to personally search <br />for capable applicants, chose the following assignments: <br />Businessman - Commissioner Wodtke <br />Architect - Commissioner Lyons <br />Engineer - Chairman Bird <br />General Contractor - Commissioner Scurlock <br />Sub -Contractor - Commissioner Scurlock <br />Chairman Bird noted that members of the Board of <br />Realtors would be here later in the day, and we could <br />request that they submit some names to be considered for <br />appointment to the new board. He added that the two <br />members -at -large would be selected from the applications <br />received. <br />Chairman Bird set the meeting of March 16, 1983, to <br />fill the seats and start that board functioning. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING CODE <br />TO ALLOW CHILD CARE CENTERS IN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICTS <br />The hour of 9:30 o'clock A.M.having passed, the Deputy <br />Clerk read the following Notice with Proof of Publication <br />attached, to -wit: <br />20 <br />
