Wednesday, March 16, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, March 16, 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice <br />Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, and William C. Wodtke, Jr. No <br />replacement for Commissioner A. Grover Fletcher has been <br />named by the Governor as yet. Also present were Michael J. <br />Wright, County Administrator; L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, <br />Community Services Director; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to <br />the Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, <br />Finance Director; Dan Fleishman, Bailiff; Barbara Bonnah and <br />Virginia.Hargreaves, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend James Ratcliff, Christ United Methodist <br />Church, gave the invocation and Chairman Richard N. Bird led <br />the PledgA of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AG�NDA <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions to the <br />Agenda. <br />Finance Director, Jeffrey Barton, requested a <br />presentation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report of <br />Indian River County, dated September 30, 1982, be added to <br />the Agenda at 9:30 a.m. as the auditors were in town today. <br />ON MOTION BY Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, the <br />Board unanimously placed the above <br />emergency item on the Agenda. <br />MAR 1 1983 x nor �� <br />
