Brandenburg REFERENCES: <br />County Attorney <br />I believe this would be an appropriate time for Itidian River County <br />to review the Structu a-r--ind authority for the imposition of <br />occupational taxes. I note that the last activity in this area in <br />the County occurred in 1972. Since that time, the legislature has <br />made several changes in the law the last being as recent as 1982. <br />This raises some questions as to whether the County currently meets <br />the state requirements regarding the imposition of -occupational <br />taxes. <br />As I recall you expressed the same concerns,to me about sig -months <br />ago.
