ORDINANCE NO. 2010- 019 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, REPEALING CODE SECTION 105.041.1; <br />LOCAL PREFERENCE IN PURCHASING OR <br />CONTRACTING; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; <br />PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, on July 14, 2009 the Board enacted an ordinance providing for local <br />preference in purchasing or contracting; and <br />WHEREAS, included in the ordinance was a provision for the Board to review <br />and possibly sunset the ordinance one year after the effective date of the ordinance; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Board conducted the review of the ordinance at its meeting of <br />September 7, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board desires to sunset and repeal Indian River Code Section <br />105.041.1, Local Preference in Purchasing or Contracting; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />SECTION 1.
