Wednesday, April 6, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, April 6, 1983,.at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; -Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice <br />Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Community Services Director; Gary <br />Brandenburg, Attorney.to the Board of County Commissioners; <br />Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance Director; Dan Fleischman, <br />Bailiff; Barbara Bonnah and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy <br />Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Rabbi Steven Adams, Temple Beth Shalom, gave the <br />invocation and Administrator Michael Wright led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the.Flag. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March <br />2, 1983. <br />Commissioner Lyons suggested that the first paragraph <br />on Page 94 would read better with the insertion of "it" in <br />the phrase, "he could understand the problems that it would <br />pose for the Health.
