RESOLUTION NO. 83-25 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA ESTABLISHING BY <br />RULE CLOSING HOURS FOR CERTAIN COUNTY PARRS AND <br />BEACH ACCESS SITES. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County have determined that itis in the best interest of <br />the citizens of Indian River County.to establish pursuant to the <br />"Indian River County Park Ordinance" rules providing for closing <br />hours of certain County parks and beach accesses. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY that the following rules are <br />hereby ad6pted pursuant to Section 17 - 1/4-4 (a) of the Indian <br />River County Code of Laws and Ordinances; <br />1. The following County parks or beach access points <br />shall close and all individuals shall vacate at §unset.; <br />(a) Seagrape Trail <br />(b) Turtle Trail <br />(c) the oceanside of Round Island Park <br />(d) Gifford Neighborhood Park <br />2. The following County parks shall close at sunset and <br />all individuals except those launching or retrieving boats shall <br />vacate; <br />- (a) the riverside of Round Island Park <br />(b) Dale Wimbrow Park <br />(c) Ambersand Park <br />This resolution shall be filed with the Clerk of the <br />Circuit Court of the County and shall become effective when so <br />filed. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Lyons who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Bowman and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as <br />y <br />follows: <br />Chairman Richard N. Bird - Aye <br />Vice-Chairman"Don C. Scurlock, Jr. - Aye <br />Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman - Aye <br />Commissioner Patrick B. Lyons - Aye <br />Commissioner William C. Wodtke, Jr. - Aye <br />The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly <br />-1- <br />
