APR <br />1983 <br />9600 <br />53 <br />�A,,E <br />97 <br />considered because St. <br />Johns wants to get out from <br />under <br />the <br />maintenance and having to deal with the public. <br />Mrs. Wilson stressed the need for the County to hold <br />public hearings on this matter before April 13th and noted <br />that the last time the public was not allowed in until after <br />the voting was held when the Game and Fish Commission became <br />involved. She felt that this time the public should have an <br />input before a vote is taken. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, the <br />Board unanimously accepted the recom- <br />mendation of Mrs. Wilson and authorized <br />the Chairman to write to the St. Johns <br />River Water Management District governing <br />board requesting a local public hearing be <br />scheduled in these chambers prior to their <br />voting on the proposed -reclassification. <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />A.
