ORDINANCE NO. 2014- 003 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND ZONING MAP FOR APPROXIMATELY ±70 ACRES <br />LOCATED AT THE EAST END OF OSLO ROAD, SOUTH SIDE, FROM RS -6, SINGLE <br />FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (UP TO 6 UNITS/ACRE), AND RS -1, SINGLE <br />FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (UP TO 1 UNIT/ACRE), TO CON -1, <br />CONSERVATION -1 DISTRICT (0 UNITS/ACRE); AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency <br />on such matters, held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing pursuant to this <br />rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners determined that this rezoning is in <br />conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that the zoning of the following described property situated in <br />Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: <br />PARCEL NO. 33-40-30-00000-1000-00001.0, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br />NE1/4 OF NE1/4 OF SECTION 30, TOWNSHIP 33 S RANGE 40 E, LESS N 50 FT <br />PARCEL NO. 33-40-30-00000-1000-00004.0, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br />SE1/4 OF NE1/4 OF SECTION 30, TOWNSHIP 33 S RANGE 40 E, LESS S 680 FT OF W 209.2 FT & <br />LESS RIVER SHORES ESTATES UNIT NO 3 & UNIT 4 & LESS W 130 FT OF N 630 FT <br />PARCEL NO. 33-40-29-00000-0010-00001.2, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br />GOV LOT 1, IN SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 33 S RANGE 40 E, LESS THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED <br />LAND: BEGINNING AT NWLY MOST CORNER OF LOT 15, RIVER SHORES ESTATES UNIT 4, RUN <br />Pap -e 1 of 3 <br />
