Wednesday, April ,20, -1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, April 20, 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice <br />Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, and William C. Wodtke, Jr. <br />Absent was Commissioner Patrick B. Lyons, who was out of the <br />country. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County <br />Administrator; L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services <br />Director; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Jeffrey R. Barton, Finance Director; Dan <br />Fleischman, Bailiff; Barbara Bonnah and Virginia Hargreaves, <br />Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Delmas Copeland, First United Methodist <br />Church, gave the invocation and Commissioner William C. <br />Wodtke, Jr., led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Finance Director Barton requested Item 6B(2) on the <br />Clerk's Agenda, the recommendation that Eugene C. Schneider <br />be denied a permit to carry a concealed firearm, be removed <br />from today's Agenda, and Administrator Wright advised it <br />would be placed on the Agenda for the next meeting, May 4, <br />1983. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested that Item 19D, on the <br />matter of a proposed boat ramp and dock off Wabasso Bridge <br />APR 2 0198-N32 <br />0-41616-� <br />
