Barton, Finance Director <br />Subject: Over Budget Accounts <br />The following budget amendments are necessary to cover the over -expenditures <br />in these accounts: <br />Postage - Tax Collector's mailing of Tax Bills <br />Legal Services - Payments to Bruce J. Smith for Public Defenders Office <br />Outside Printing - Printing for Circuit Court Judges <br />Account Title Account No. <br />Postage 001-400-513-34.21 <br />Legal Services 001-901-516-33.11 <br />Outside Printing 001-901't516-34.72 <br />Reserve for Contingencies 001-199-513-99.91 <br />Balance in Reserve account <br />$272,795. <br />Increase Decrease <br />2,049 <br />17,000 <br />200 <br />19,249 <br />Discussion was held on the advisability of approving <br />the $17,000 increase for Legal Services at this time. <br />Attorney Brandenburg reported that the Public <br />Defender's Office has found another source of funding and <br />will be able to bring Bruce Smith back into their office so <br />that we no longer will need to contract for his services. <br />It was agreed the proposed amendment for legal services <br />might be premature, and Finance Director Barton agreed to <br />pull this item off the above budget amendment and further <br />analyze this account. <br />APR 0 353 PAGE231 <br />P <br />I <br />
