APP 2 0 1983 BOOK 5 3OF20 <br />APPROVAL OF OUT -OF -COUNTY TRAVEL - LIZ FORLANI <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 4/12/83: <br />TO: Board of County DATE: April 12, 1983 FILE: <br />Commissioners <br />SUBJECT: out -of -county travel <br />FROM: Liz Forlani REFERENCES: <br />Administrative Aide <br />I am requesting authorization to attend the 20th Annual <br />Institute for Governmental Secretaries being held in Orlando on <br />June 15/18y,1983. <br />This Seminar would give me the opportunity to expand my <br />knowledge of office technology of the future and also to meet <br />with personnel from other counties and possibly exchange policy <br />procedures. <br />This expenditure would come out of Account No. <br />001-101-511-34.02. The unencumbered balance in this account is <br />$2,938.00. <br />Discussion was held regarding how many secretaries were <br />planning to attend the seminar. Administrator Wright <br />reported that his secretary wished to attend as well as the <br />County Attorney's secretary. It was noted that there would <br />be approximately five secretaries attending. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, the <br />Board unanimously authorized out -of - <br />county travel for Administrative Aide, <br />Liz Forlani, to attend the 20th Annual <br />Institute for Governmental Secretaries <br />being held in Orlando on June 15/18, 1983; <br />and also approved the attendance of other <br />secretaries subject to available budget funds <br />and approval of various department heads. <br />W <br />
