a <br />L-1 <br />WORKSHOP TO STUDY CODY REPORT <br />The Administrator stated that the purpose of putting this <br />matter on the agenda was to be able to set a date for the <br />workshop that would be convenient for all. <br />After some discussion, it was decided to set Monday <br />afternoon May 16th, at 1:00 P.M. as the date and time for a <br />workshop on the Cody -report. <br />WORKSHOP RE FOURTH COURTROOM <br />It was decided to have a workshop to discuss the Fourth <br />Courtroom on Monday, May 9th, at 7:30 P.M. <br />STATUS OF DOUGLAS SCHOOL <br />Attorney Brandenburg reported that a lot of work has been <br />done between the health group and the Wabasso Civic League, and <br />they have reached a lease agreement, which he received a copy of <br />late yesterday. Attorney Brandenburg continued that this item <br />was agendaed because of the requirement for a two 'week update, <br />and what he would suggest is that the Commission hear a <br />presentation from the Health group on the agreement they have <br />reached and reschedule this for the next meeting, when it can be <br />approved formally and at the same time, a deed to Florida <br />Community Health Centers can be approved: <br />Fred Diaz, Executive Director of Florida Community Health <br />Centers, confirmed that a lot of work has gone into arriving at a <br />lease, and he believed that both parties are now satisfied with <br />the agreement that has been reached. One of the major hurdles, <br />the possibility of having to put sprinklers in the cafeteria, has <br />been checked out by the architects, and it now seems this will <br />not be necessary. Mr. Diaz continued that it was brought to <br />their attention that they would be faced with the problem of <br />off-street parking requirements, paving, landscaping, etc., and <br />they have requested a waiver on that particular item. <br />Mr. Diaz then reviewed some of the main points of their <br />agreement with the West Wabasso Civic League, stating that the <br />cafeteria is the designated area so the community can have access <br />104 <br />MAY 4 1983 aaac 53 pu- 461 <br />
