Wednesday, May 18, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in Regular Session at the County Com- <br />mission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Wednesday, May 18, 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present were <br />Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice <br />Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Patrick B. Lyons and William <br />C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County <br />Administrator; L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services <br />Director; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance Director; Dan <br />Fleischman, Bailiff; Barbara Bonnah and Virginia Hargreaves, <br />Deputy Clerks. <br />Pastor Harry Powers, New Life Christian Church, gave <br />the invocation and Commissioner Patrick B. Lyons led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Lyons requested the addition to today's <br />Agenda of a discussion regarding the vacancy on the District <br />9 Advisory Council to the Health .& Rehabilitative Services, <br />plus a discussion re the vacancy on the District 9 Mental <br />Health Board due to the recent resignation of Mrs. <br />Fitzgerald. <br />MAY 18 1983 <br />L. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />the Board unanimously placed the above <br />matters on today's Agenda. <br />000 5--PAu, 471 <br />
