Commissioner Wodtke appreciated the Board's confidence, <br />but informed them that John Ashcraft, Executive Director of <br />the Indian River Community, believed there would be a <br />conflict of interest if he sat on both the Advisory Council <br />and the District Board. He noted that the District Board <br />does allocate funds and evaluate the Center. <br />Chairman Bird asked which board Mr. Ashcraft would <br />prefer that Commissioner Wodtke be on, and Commissioner <br />Wodtke stated that he felt it would be very helpful for a <br />Commissioner to have input with the local center. <br />Commissioner Lyons felt the issue is where Commis- <br />sioner Wodtke will be most effective for the county. <br />It was decided to withhold any action on these <br />appointments until next Wednesday's Special Meeting. <br />The several bills and accounts.against the County <br />having been audited were examined and found to be correct <br />were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same as <br />follows: Treasury Fund Nos. 85850 - 86109 inclusive. Such <br />bills and accounts being on file in the Office of the Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court, the warrants so issued from the <br />respective bonds being listed in the Supplemental Minute <br />Book as provided by the rules of the Legislative Auditor, <br />reference to such record and list so recorded being made a <br />part of these Minutes. <br />There being no further business, on PMotion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board adjourned at 5:07 o'clock <br />P.M. <br />Attest: <br />Clerk <br />1' $0 <br />6 <br />Ed <br />Chairman <br />Coax 53 Psg571 <br />
