Frsr Nil <br />Commissioner Wodtke informed the Board that he had a <br />call this morning from John Ashcraft that the House of <br />Representatives did introduce a bill that would, in effect, <br />abolish the district boards. Holloway, Executive Director <br />SUBJECT: District IX Health Council's Health Plan <br />The District IX Health Council is beginning its revision of the Acute <br />Care portion of the District Health Plan. We are requesting that all <br />area hospital administrates ors County or>nissioners, affiliated health <br />agencies and all interested parties provide comments and suggestions <br />in regard to the development of the new plan. <br />A timetable for the completion of this project is enclosed. A workshop <br />is planned for May 20., 1983 for the purpose of discussing acute care <br />hospitals. A follow-up memo next week will give further details. <br />The importance of this plan must be emphasized. Once adopted by the <br />Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, it will become the <br />basis of Certificate of Need decisions and will be written into the <br />State's Rules and Regulations. <br />40 <br />
