• <br />11 <br />�.; RESOLUTION NO. 93- 175 <br />fr <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />' BY AND THROUGH ITS BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, <br />w CREATING 'AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL AND <br />REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 85-86. <br />u <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has established an Economic Development <br />Council by Resolution No. 85-86; and <br />WHEREAS, the County would now like to expand the Economic Development <br />Council to offer wider representation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, thatt <br />1. There is hereby created an Economic Development Council. The initial <br />appointees to this Council shall be as follows: <br />2. The Economic Development Council shall be responsible for providing <br />advice to the Board of County Commissioners on the direction of all of <br />Indian River County's economic development activities. The Council <br />shall meet on a regular basis with staff assistance provided by the <br />Community Development Department. <br />3. The Economic Development Council shall also provide information and <br />advice on implementing the adopted Overall Economic Development Plan of <br />" <br />the County. <br />r 4. The provisions of Chapter 102 relating to meetings and procedures of the <br />County Code shall apply. <br />j <br />s}�f{ 5.
