JUN 15 1983 <br />Mr. Pinto felt that a 90 -day phase out is better than <br />suddenly saying one day that there is no dumping the next <br />day. <br />Discussion continued re various alternatives, and <br />Commissioner Lyons requested that a solution be developed <br />and brought back to the Board and requested that the <br />Environmental Health people be in attendance at that time. <br />He also felt that the County should not be considering going <br />out of business, but rather going into the business of <br />septage disposal. <br />Administrator Wright advised that a Motion was not <br />necessary; that the Utilities Department would bring the <br />matter back to the Board at the second meeting in July. <br />DISCUSSION - REPLACEMENT FOR DR. C. C. FLOOD, HEALTH <br />DEPARTMENT <br />Chairman Bird announced that this item was withdrawn <br />from today's Agenda at the request of Dr. Flood. <br />PROCLAMATION - MRS. BAMMA LAWSON - 101st BIRTHDAY <br />Chairman Bird announced that Mrs. Lawson was not <br />present today; however, Commissioner Bowman will visit Mrs. <br />Lawson at her home next week to personally present the <br />proclamation. <br />41A <br />
