Wednesday, July 6, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, July 6, 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M.Present <br />were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., dice <br />Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Patrick B. Lyons, and William <br />C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County <br />Administrator; L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services <br />Director; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance Director; Barbara <br />Bonnah and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerks. <br />Chairman Bird asked that we observe a moment of silent <br />meditation in memory of those who have served this County in <br />the past and are no longer with us. <br />Commissioner Lyons led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright requested the deletion from <br />today's Agenda of Item 8 - Distribution for Small Business <br />Administration Parks and Recreation Area Development <br />Program. <br />Attorney Brandenburg requested a discussion on the <br />Reinhold litigation be added to today's Agenda. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, the <br />Board unanimously agreed to place the <br />above emergency item on today's Agenda. <br />JUL 6 1983.53 mu,677 <br />
