As a result of this action, all the require- <br />ments for subdivisions would be in one location. <br />Attorney Brandenburg continued that when the Zoning <br />Code is completed, they hope to compile one volume that <br />contains the Comprehensive Land Plan, the Zoning Code, and <br />the Subdivision Code, along with other related land develop- <br />ment ordinances, so that any individual coming into the <br />County will be able to acquire all the things relating to <br />his project in one document. This ordinance has gone <br />through two public workshops where we have asked the help of <br />the local engineers, architects, and residents, and they <br />have given many good suggestions. He explained that they <br />have included all the suggestions that they felt improved <br />the ordinance. He reported that the ordinance has gone to <br />the Planning & Zoning Commission where it was determined <br />that it is in conformity with the Indian River County <br />Comprehensive Plan. The Planning & Zoning Commission then <br />recommended that the Ordinance be adopted by the Board of <br />County Commissioners. <br />Attorney Brandenburg proceeded to explain the Ordinance <br />modifications page by page. <br />Page 2 Under "TITLE" - Delete "Regulations" and insert <br />"Ordinance" in the title "Subdivision and Platting <br />Ordinance" of Indian River County, Florida. <br />Page 3 Under SECTION 4 - PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />lst Paragraph, last sentence: Delete <br />"ensure" and insert "require".
