s <br />Wednesday, August 3, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, August 3, 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Richard N, Bird, Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Margaret <br />C. Bowman, and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Vice Chairman Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr. was on vacation out of state. Also present <br />were L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services Director; Gary <br />Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners.; <br />Jeffrey K. Barton, Director, Office of Management & Budget; <br />Lt. M. L. Reese, Bailiff; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />G.. Alton Ferrell, Pastor of New-Bethal Church, gave the <br />invocation and Attorney Brandenburg led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright requested a brief discussion be <br />added to today's Agenda re the scheduling of a budget <br />workshop. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, the <br />Board unanimously added the above item <br />to today's Agenda. <br />Chairman Bird requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of consideration of a request of Mrs. Walter Jackson to move <br />
