Monday, August 29, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Special Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Monday, August 29, 1983, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice <br />Chairman; and Patrick B. Lyons. Absent were Commissioners <br />Margaret C. Bowman and William C. Wodtke, Jr., who were out <br />of town. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County <br />Administrator; Gary_ Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, OMB Director; and <br />Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />MEDICAL INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br />Chairman Bird announced that the Special Meeting was <br />called to continue discussion and reach a decision regarding <br />medical insurance.
