SEP 7 198` �acc,i <br />the Reserve for Contingencies to $432,973; it does not <br />change the overall total. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Scurlock, to approve changes in <br />the budget as set out above. <br />Dr. Lookabaugh explained that there presently is no <br />maternal health care program, which is an essential public <br />health service and that is why she asked for $30,000 from <br />the county to match with state funds. Dr. Lookabaugh <br />pointed out that if these women have complications at birth, <br />the hospital bill can easily run into thousand of dollars. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />instructed that the item entitled Reserve - <br />Mental Health in the amount of $121,756 be <br />deleted and those funds be added to the <br />Reserve for Contingency. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />approved a tentative millage of 2.72923 for <br />the General Fund for the fiscal year 1983-84. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />approved a tentative budget of $9,271,709 for <br />the General Fund for the fiscal year 1983-84. <br />14 - <br />
