S E P 7 1993 <br />hOK � _ - 5A, PAGE 58*6 " <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing on the <br />Transportation Fund. <br />OMB Director Barton reported that this is basically the <br />vehicle that collects our gasoline tax revenues from the <br />state and funds, through payments to the Road &Bridge <br />Department, for the collector roads. This fund by state law <br />must assess a millage, and Indian River County has chosen to <br />assess a millage of 0.00001, which is at rollback. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be ' <br />heard. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />closed the public hearing on the Transportation <br />Fund. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />approved a tentative millage of 0.00001 for <br />the Transportation Fund for the fiscal year <br />1983-84. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />approved a tentative budget of $537,686 for <br />the Transportation Fund for the fiscal year <br />1983-84. <br />The Chairman announced that budgets for the following <br />operating funds and fire districts would now be considered: <br />16 <br />
