FP 7 198 <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing on the Federal <br />Revenue Sharing Fund. <br />Director Barton reported that the Administrative <br />hearing on the intended use of the Federal Revenue Sharing <br />funds had been held this afternoon. The proposed budget is <br />$487,762, and no ad valorem millage is involved. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be <br />heard, There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />closed the public hearing on the Federal Revenue <br />Sharing.Fund. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />approved a tentative budget of $487,762 for <br />the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund for the fiscal <br />year 1983-84. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing on the Police <br />Academy Fund. <br />Director Barton explained that the proposed budget of <br />$33,117 represents the $2.00 per traffic ticket money which <br />is used for police education. No ad valorem millage is <br />involved. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be <br />heard.
