September 21, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commissioner Chambers 1840 25th Street Vero Beach, <br />a h, <br />Florida, on Wednesday, September 21,: 1983, at 8:30 o'clock <br />A.M. Present were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Margaret C. <br />Bowman, and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Community Services Director; Gary <br />Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board .of County Commissioners;. <br />Jeffrey K.. Barton,.Director, Office of Management & Budget; <br />Lt. Kurt L. Kuehn, Bailiff; Barbara Bonnah and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerks. <br />Reverend Larry Boan, Central Assembly, gave the <br />invocation and Chairman Bird led e the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Y OMB.Director Barton requested the addition to today's <br />Agenda of authorization for Chairman.to sign the Application <br />nor State Revenue Sharing 1983-84, South Indian River County <br />Fire District. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Scurlock, the <br />Board unanimously added the above emergency. <br />item to today's Agenda. <br />SEP 211983 <br />
