Wednesday, September 21, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Special Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, September 21, 1983, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. <br />Present were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, <br />Jr., Vice Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman; Patrick B. Lyons.; <br />and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. <br />Wright, County Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to <br />the Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, OMB <br />Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and announced <br />that the purpose of this special meeting is to adopt the <br />final budget. <br />Administrator Wright led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br />Chairman Bird informed those present of the procedure <br />which will be followed tonight, noting that all the funds <br />the County has responsibility for will be reviewed. <br />Said funds were properly advertised as follows: <br />SEP 211-83 <br />VERO BEACH PRESS -JOURNAL <br />Published Daily <br />Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida <br />COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER: STATE OF FLORIDA <br />Before the undersigned authority personally appeared J. J.
