-SEP 21 1983 <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing on the Trans- <br />portation Fund. <br />OMB Director Barton explained that the Transportation <br />Fund is a countywide taxing authority mandated by state law <br />for millage. There is no increase over rollback, and the <br />proposed millage is the same as last year - 0.00001. There <br />are no proposed amendments, and the proposed budget is <br />$537,686. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone wished to be heard. There <br />were none. <br />Attorney Brandenburg read proposed Resolution 83-83 <br />into the record. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />closed the public hearing on the Transporta- <br />tion Fund. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Resolution 83-83 establishing a millage <br />rate of 0.00001 for the Transportation Fund for <br />fiscal year 1983-84. <br />16 <br />
