4 SEP 211983 <br />Ba 5A na 9 , <br />Mr. Barton continued that the 39.25% increase over <br />rollback would fund a proposed budget of $44,500 and require <br />a millage rate of 0.36416. This fund basically makes <br />payments to both the North and South County Fire Districts. <br />Commissioner Wodtke commented on the figure of $7,550 <br />cash forward and wished to know where it came from. <br />Mr. Barton stated that some of the expenses did not run <br />as high as anticipated and taxes came in at a higher rate <br />than anticipated. <br />In further discussion, it was noted that when <br />budgeting, a portion of the district was inadvertently <br />omitted and taxes actually came in at 137%, causing a <br />surplus of over $7,000 this year. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be <br />heard.
