She stated that so many dwelling <br />units in that area would have an effect, but she did not know <br />just how much. <br />Mrs. Stanbridge stated that she lived in this area, <br />and she noted that it is a rural area. She noted that the area <br />is low and stated that there is a drainage problem. Mrs. <br />Stanbridge stated that LD -1 was the best designation for that <br />area. She moved to recommend to the Board of County <br />Commissioners that the John Cole request to amend the comp plan <br />on 153 acres from LD -1, to LD -2, and to rezone from A, Ag, and <br />R-1, Single -Family, to R -2A, Multi -Family District, be denied. <br />Mr. Jones seconded the motion, and the Commission voted 4-0 to <br />recommend denial. Mr. Jones stated that a line had to be drawn <br />somewhere, and that line has been drawn on Kings Highway.
