NOV 16 1993 55 ri i4?5 <br />Mr. Nelson requested the Board's assistance on two <br />other items. He informed the Board that it is their intent <br />to build the road coming into the property immediately with <br />letters of credit or bonds, and he would like a Motion to <br />instruct the staff to work with them to design the road. <br />Commissioner Scurlock stated that is standard operating <br />procedure, and the Administrator confirmed that all Mr. <br />Nelson has to do is ask. <br />Mt. Nelson then brought up the problem of matching the <br />road right-of-way with the permitted railroad right-of-way <br />crossings, and asked the County's assistance in acquiring an <br />easement to eliminate a possible "S" in the road, even to <br />condemnation if necessary. He mainly wished the County's <br />support to give them strength in negotiating. <br />Chairman Bird suggested that Mr. Nelson get together <br />with the County Administrator and Attorney, who will come <br />back and advise the Board re this matter. <br />MOTION TO RECONSIDER ACTION RE CONSENT AGENDA ITEM <br />Chairman Bird announced that the Clerk has requested <br />that the Board allow some time later in the meeting to <br />readdress Agenda Item 8-B re a budget amendment for the Data <br />Processing IBM System/38. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unani- <br />mously agreed to reconsider the above agenda <br />item as requested by the Clerk. <br />DISCUSSION RE'FOURTH COURTROOM. <br />Dr. Hardin, Assistant to the County Administrator, <br />reviewed the following staff memo: <br />116 <br />
