J. Deleting reference to the maximum <br />number of dwelling units per.acre al- <br />lowed in Mixed -Use Districts under the <br />general description of Mixed -Use Dis- <br />tricts on Page 27 of the Comprehen- <br />sive Plan; <br />2. Adding a.statement concerning the . <br />maximum number of dwelling units per <br />acre allowed in the Gifford Mixed -Use <br />! District under the description of the <br />Gifford Mixed -Use District on page 38 <br />of the Comprehensive Plan. <br />A public hearing at which parties in interest <br />and citizens shall have an opportunity to be <br />heard, will be held by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Flor- <br />ida, in the County Commission Chambers of <br />the County Administration Building, located at <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Wednesday, November 16, 1983, at 1:30 P.M. <br />If any person decides to appeal any decision <br />made on the above matter, he/she will need a <br />record of the proceedings, and for such pur- <br />poses, he/she may need to ensure that a ver- <br />batim record of the proceedings is made, <br />which includes testimony and evidence upon <br />which the appeal is based. <br />Indian River County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />By: -s -Richard N. Bird, Chairman <br />Oct. 28, Nov. 9, 1983. <br />Planner Shearer noted that this matter of clarifying <br />the permitted residential densities in the MXD areas was <br />previously reviewed and approved at the Special Meeting of <br />October 12th, but the advertisement did not allow for the <br />adoption of an amending Ordinance; it was necessary to <br />readvertise, and this now has been done properly. Mr. <br />Shearer emphasized that this amendment does not change the <br />intent of the Plan, it just clarifies it. <br />79 <br />
