<br />The. Indian River County Board of County
<br />Commissioners will hold a public hearing
<br />November 30, 1983, 7:30 p.m., in the Sebas-
<br />tian City Council Chambers, located at 1225
<br />Main Street, Sebastian, Florida, to consider a
<br />request for an adjustment of copyright fees
<br />for Jones Intercable. The proposed adjust-
<br />ment is as follows:
<br />PRESENT RATE COPYRIGHT
<br />ADJUSTMENT FEE
<br />1st outlet $8.50 + $0.33
<br />2nd outlet $1.80 + $0.08
<br />All interested persons are invited to this
<br />meeting. If any person decides to appeal any
<br />decision made by the Board of County Com-
<br />missioners with respect to any matter consid-
<br />ered at this meeting, he/she will need a
<br />record of the proceedings, and that for such
<br />purpose he may need to ensure that a verba-
<br />tim record of the proceedings is made, which
<br />record includes the testimony and. evidence
<br />upon which the appeal is to be used.

<br />are allowed three (3) distant signals without incurring the three
<br />and three quarters percent (3.75%) fee recently adopted by the Copy-
<br />right Royalty Tribunal. But, systems in the next fifty (50) markets
<br />are allowed only two (2), and the nation's smaller systems are allowed
<br />only one (1) distant signal without penalty.
