RESOLUTION NO. 2000- oga <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMiJ|ISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, APPOINTING ROBERT G. REID SPECIAL <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY FOR THE PURPOSE OFCOORDINATING, APPROVING, AND NOTING <br />CONTRACT DOCUMENTS PRESENTED TO THE BOARD <br />OF COUNTY COMTIISSIONERS IN CONNECTION WITHTHE PURCHASE, LEASEBACK, tMpRovEMENT, AND <br />DEVELOPMENT OF DODGERTOWN. <br />WHEREAS, Section 102J0(4) of the Indian River County Code (Ordinance g0- <br />19) provides that "[alll contract documents shall be coordinated with and noted by the <br />county attorney and county administrator before presentation to commission," and <br />Section 105.02, of the Indian River County Code (Ordinance gO-241, requires the <br />county attorney's approval as to form and legal sufficiency for certain purchasing <br />contracts in excess of five thousand dollars ($5,000); and <br />WHEREAS, the services of Attorney Robert C. Reid have been engaged to <br />prepare documents and conduct negotiations in connection with the purchase, <br />leaseback, improvement, and devetopment of property known as Dodgertown, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Robert C. Reid is <br />hereby appointed special county attorney for the purpose of coordinating, approving, <br />and noting contract documents presented to the Board of County Commissioners in <br />connection with the purchase, leaseback, improvement, and development of <br />Dodgertown. <br />The resolution <br />Macht <br />was moved for adoption by Commissioner <br />and the motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Ti ppi n , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:
