<br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
<br />The Indian River County Board of County
<br />Commissioners will hold a public hearing: on
<br />January 18, 1984, 9:00 a.m., in the commission
<br />chambers located 'at 1840 25th Street, Vero
<br />Beach, Florida 32980, to consider a request for a
<br />change in rates by Hutchinson Utilities, Inc. The
<br />proposed rates areas follows:
<br />Residential
<br />Base Rate ---$15.00 per mos. covers sewer
<br />service for a dwelling unit with a kitchen and (1)
<br />bathroom. ,
<br />Unit ---$7.75 per mos. for each additional
<br />bathroom, laundry room or toilet In access of,
<br />those Included in base rate.
<br />Fractional Units -4%, of y2 etc.) common
<br />laundry rooms shared by apartment dwelling
<br />units are divided by the number of dwelling units
<br />to determine fractional units.
<br />Commercial
<br />(1) Hotels, motels, or other facilities offering
<br />transient or guest accommodations;
<br />Base—$40.00 per mos. covers first (5)
<br />bathrooms.
<br />Unit ---$7.57 per mos. for each bathroom in
<br />aces of (5).
<br />(2) Restaurants, bars, clubs and other facili-
<br />ties, providing food or drink as primary servicaa;
<br />--$
<br />Base40.00 per mos. covers (20) seats.
<br />Unit -7.75 per mos. for each (20) sesta,
<br />or fraction.thereof, in access of (20).
<br />(3) All other commercial facilities;
<br />Base ---$40.00 per mos. for up to (2) rooms
<br />having connections to the corporations sewer
<br />lines.
<br />Unit -47.75 per mos. for each room in ac-
<br />cess.of (2) having a connection to corporation
<br />sewer line.
<br />We trust that the above information will pro-
<br />vide you with an understanding of our various
<br />rate classifications.
<br />All interested persons are invited to this meet-
<br />ing. If any person decides to appeal any decision
<br />made by the Board of County Commissioners
<br />with respect to any matter considered at this
<br />meeting, he/she will need a record of the pro-
<br />ceedings, and that for such purpose he/she may
<br />need to ensure that a verbatim record of the pro-
<br />ceedings is made, which record includes the
<br />testimony and evidence upon which the apps•
<br />is to be heard.
