rr- <br />JAN <br />18 1994 <br />690K <br />55 P� :E <br />'I <br />878 . <br />DER, <br />etc., and stated the only reason that nothing <br />has <br />progressed further is that Nu -West is on a hold with all of <br />their development. <br />Chairman Scurlock commented that all he knows about <br />Oslo Square Associates is that they took down one of the <br />nicest oak trees in the county. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone further wished to be <br />heard. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />(4-0) closed the public hearing. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, to adopt Ordinance 84-1, <br />granting the rezoning to C-1 of the property <br />advertised as requested by Nu -West Florida, Inc. <br />Commissioner Wodtke pointed out that the difference <br />between C-1 and C-lA is very minor, and Commissioner Lyons <br />stated that he was glad to hear that Nu -West did some study <br />of the wetlands. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to convey to Nu -West that we <br />have environmental concerns and would encourage them to work <br />closely with the Commission and the residents of the area on <br />any future development plans. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously <br />73 <br />
