During <br />the remainder of the year some meetings were cancelled <br />while ot'ners could not conduct business because of the <br />lack of a .quorum. <br />::y pri:rary reason for rasigning isthat^t my wife <br />and I will be traveling extensively this year, having <br />Purchased the ;astern Airlines passport ,.vhich uarmits <br />almost unlimited flights within the United States. <br />Secon:?ly, I do not wis-1, ;o cont;.nue on the Council <br />because of the haphazard :!ay ''gat' it- conducts business. <br />I feel that i care better Use my time for other more <br />3.ti3fyin pursuits. <br />A .2 ..-til wt ;� vitt'" ✓L <br />=eonard S. f aver <br />ON MOTION.by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />accepted the resignation of Leonard Craven <br />from the Economic Opportunities Council with <br />regret and authorized the Chairman to write <br />him a letter of appreciation for his past <br />services. <br />Discussion ensued as to difficulty of finding people <br />willing to serve on the EOC and willing to continue to <br />serve. It was noted that the make up of the EOC requires a <br />certain composition, and it was felt the general attitude of <br />
