r <br />r <br />Recording Secretary Virginia Hargreaves informed the <br />agreed these paragraphs should be corrected to read "It was <br />noted that" and "Comment was made that" rather than "Commis- <br />sioner Bird commented" and "Commissioner Bird agreed." <br />Commissioner Bird then asked that the Motion on Page 32 <br />be corrected to reflect that it was seconded by Commissioner <br />Wodtke rather than Commissioner Lyons. <br />The above corrections having been made, ON <br />MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />of February 22, 1984, as written. <br />PROCLAMATION RE MENTAL RETARDATION MONTH <br />Chairman Scurlock read aloud the following Proclamation <br />designating March, 1984, as Mental Retardation Month and <br />presented it to Lenora Quimby, Executive Director of the <br />Association for -Retarded Citizens. <br />t1 <br />MAR 7 1984 BOOK '6 PACE ZN I <br />I <br />Board that she had misunderstood the Motion on Page 59, and <br />it should be corrected to read that the Board authorized <br />Attorney Brandenburg to prepare and send a letter to,St. <br />Lucie County supporting their Resolution proposing amendment <br />of Sec. 768.28 of the Fla. Statute rather than authorizing <br />the Attorney to prepare such a Resolution and adopting same. <br />Commissioner Bird referred tothefirst paragraph on <br />Page 14, noting that that it should refer to tying the homes <br />and the park into "a" sewer plant rather than "the" sewer <br />plant as there is no plant at Blue Cypress Lake as yet. <br />Commissioner Bird next referred to paragraphs 5 and 7 <br />on Page 31 which discussed density of acreage along Indian <br />River Drive near Sebastian and the necessity for building on <br />stilts. He did not believe he had made these statements, <br />but felt they had been made by some member of staff.
