INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 84-8 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />SECTION 11 (a) OF ORDINANCE 71-3 AS AMENDED, KNOWN <br />AS APPENDIX A--ZONING--OF THE CODE OF LAWS AND <br />ORDINANCES OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR <br />FINAL ZONING APPROVAL TO R -3A RETIREMENT DISTRICT <br />PRIOR TO SITE PLAN APPROVAL; CODIFICATION; <br />SEVERABILITY; REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. a <br />SECTION 1 <br />Section 11 (a) of Ordinance 71-3, as amended, is hereby <br />amended to read as _follows: <br />Section 11 R -3A Retirement District <br />(a) Purpose and intent. The purpose and intent of this <br />district is to provide housing facilities and services especially <br />designed to meet the spiritual., physical.and social needs of the <br />retired, elderly, disabled or dependent persons, or for religious, <br />charitable or non-profit uses. <br />A retirement district shall contain not less than <br />ten (10 ) acres.
