H <br />MAR 2 11984 BOOK 56 PAC 493 <br />SALE OF COUNTY PROPERTY <br />The Board reviewed staff memo and recommendation, as <br />follows: <br />TO: The Board of County DATE: FILE: <br />Commissioners March 15, 1984 <br />SUBJECT: Sale of County Property <br />NA of SEk Section 26, <br />Township 32S, Range 39E <br />Parcel #26-32-39-00000- <br />7000-00011.0 <br />FROM: Liz Forlani REFERENCES: <br />Administrative Aide , <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Bids were received March 13, 1984 at 11:00 o'clock A.M. for sale <br />of County Property listed above. <br />This property is located in the Gifford area just north of the <br />Geoffrey Subdivision on the southside of 39th Street, <br />approximately 100 feet east of US Highway 1. <br />All adjacent property owners were notified of the County's <br />intention to accept bids for sale of this property. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The high bid was submitted by William C. & Josephine M. Borland <br />in the amount of $7,025.00. Mr. Borland included a bank check <br />for 10% of the bid, in the amount of $702.50. The current <br />assessment on this property, taken from the tax roll, is $6,300. <br />RECO14MENDAT ION <br />It is recommended that we sell the above described property to <br />William C. & Josephine M. Borland in the amount of $7,025.00; <br />that the Attorney be authorized to prepare a deed; and that the <br />recording costs be the responsibility of the Borlands. <br />It is also recommended that the funds received from this sale be <br />deposited in an account earmarked for park acquisition and the <br />development of existing park properties. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />approved the sale of County property in the <br />NW4 of the SE4, Section 26, Township 32 South, <br />Range 39 East, Parcel #00000-7000-00011.0, <br />to the high bidder, William & Josephine Borland <br />for $7,025. <br />48 <br />
