Commissioner Wodtke complimented the volunteers for their <br />preparedness. He noted that Dr. Hardin attended and there <br />will be a letter of thanks going to all volunteers, but he <br />did agree there should be something permanent for display in <br />the Emergency Management Office. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />y Commissioner Bird wished to recognize Dick Stevens of <br />the Life for Youth Ranch and felt he should be thanked for <br />his cooperation and support. <br />Commissioner Wodtke confirmed that without Mr. Stevens <br />support, we could not have used that facility for an area to <br />bring the people and cars into. He noted that it -was <br />necessary to install some light poles there, and he hoped <br />they will prove to be a benefit to the Ranch in some way. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - RIGHT-OF-WAY ABANDONMENT (RONALD MEEKS) <br />The hour of 9:15 o'clock A.M. having passed, the Deputy <br />Clerk read the following Notice with Proof of Publication <br />attached, to -wit: <br />9 <br />MAR 2 1 1984 BOOK <br />56 TACE451 <br />
