BARTON <br />CLERK CIRCUIT COURT <br />INDIAN RIVER CO., FLA. <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />CONFIRMING THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS IN CONNECTION <br />WITH A WATER MAIN EXTENSION TO THE SEBASTIAN AREA <br />PHASE III -A; PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LIENS TO <br />BE MADE OF RECORD. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br />Resolution No. 2000-122, adopted October 3, 2000, determined to make special <br />assessments against certain properties to be serviced by a water main extension to the <br />Sebastian Area Phasp III -A (an area located south of Caravan Terrace with Periwinkle <br />Drive along the South and West); and <br />WHEREAS, said resolution described the manner in which said special <br />assessments shall be made and how said special assessments are to be paid; and <br />WHEREAS, the resolution was published in the Vero Beach Press Journal, as <br />required by Section 206.04, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County passed <br />Resolution No. 2000-123 on October 3, 2000, and set a time and place for a public <br />hearing at which the owners of the properties to be assessed and other interested <br />persons would have the chance to be heard as to any and all complaints as to said <br />project and said special assessments, and for the Board to act as required by Section <br />206.07, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of the public hearing was published in <br />the Press Journal Newspaper on Friday, October 6, 2000, and once again on Friday, <br />October 13, 2000 (twice one week apart; the last being at least one week prior to the <br />hearing), as required by Section 206.06, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the land owners of record were mailed notices at least ten days prior <br />to the hearing, as required by Section 206.06, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County on <br />Tuesday, October 24, 2000, at 9:05 a.m. conducted the public hearing with regard to <br />the special assessments; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: <br />nib d prepared by <br />should be returned to C. <br />the County Attorney's Office, <br />1810 25th St., Vero Beach, <br />florid% 32960 <br />0Z03ed39C I ao <br />
