Description and Conditions <br />Bids were received April 3, 1984 at 11:00 A.M., for IRC Bid #200 - Road Striping <br />Paint for the Traffic Engineering Department. <br />7 Bid Proposals were sent out, 4 bids were received. <br />2. Alternatives and Analysis <br />This bid replaces IRC Bid #180 (an annual bid) which was cancelled due to the <br />unacceptable age and quality of the paint received from Redland Prismo. This <br />bid will be effective until September 30, 1984, at which time it will be re -bid <br />on an annual basis. <br />All bids met specifications. The low bid was submitted by Glidden Paint & Wall - <br />covering Store, Vero Beach. The paint is manufactured by Cherokee Safety Markings, <br />Canton, Ga., with the Glidden label. <br />3. Recommendations and Funding <br />It is recommended that IRC Bid #200 be awarded to the low bidder, Glidden Paint <br />& Wallcovering. <br />Funds to come from Account #004-245-541-35-35. <br />� � r <br />
