MAY 2 3 1994 <br />C <br />BOOK 57 <br />FAG 2?7 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-37 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY GUARANTEEING AND APPROPRIATING A <br />SALARY TO THE CLERK OF CIRCUIT COURT OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTES SECTION 145.22 <br />WHEREAS Florida Statutes Section 145.022 provides that <br />the Board of County Commissioners, with the concurrence of the <br />Clerk of Circuit Court may by Resolution guarantee and <br />appropriate a salary to the Clerk of the Circuit Court in an <br />amount specified by Florida Law, if all fees collected by the <br />Clerk are turned over to the Board of County Commissioners, and <br />WHEREAS, Freda Wright, Clerk of the Circuit Court of <br />Indian River. County has indicated her desire to continue as a <br />Budget Officer and turn over all fees collected by her office <br />without exception, to the Board of County Commissioners, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board will review and act upon the Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court's budget as provided by law establishing all <br />reasonable and necessary expenses to be incurred by the Clerk in <br />the operation of offices under her jurisdiction, including the <br />Clerk's salary as provided in Florida Statutes Section 145.022, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Board shall distribute to the Clerk <br />approved budget funds in such.monthly installments as shall be <br />mutually satisfactory to the parties, and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk agrees to supply any and all <br />information requested by the Board in the form requested by the <br />County including all budgetary information and periodic reports as <br />may be necessary or required. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners and the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian <br />River County, that <br />1. All prior Resolutions between the Clerk of the <br />Circuit Court and the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County involving Florida Statutes Chapter 145 are hereby <br />superseded by this Resolution. <br />72 <br />
