RESOLUTION NO. 2010-107
A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, CANCELLING
CERTAIN TAXES UPON PUBLICLY OWNED
LANDS, PURSUANT TO SECTION 196.28,
FLORIDA STATUTES.
WHEREAS, section 196.28, Florida Statutes, allows the Board of
County Commissioners of each County to cancel and discharge any and all liens
for taxes, delinquent or current, held or owned by the county or the state, upon
lands heretofore or hereafter conveyed to or acquired by any agency,
governmental subdivision, or municipality of the state, or the United States, for
road purposes, defense purposes, recreation, reforestation, or other public use;
and
WHEREAS, such cancellation must be by resolution of the Board of
County Commissioners, duly adopted and entered upon its minutes properly
describing such lands and setting forth the public use to which the same are or
will be devoted; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of a certified copy of such resolution, proper
officials of the county and of the state are authorized, empowered, and directed
to make proper entries upon the records to accomplish such cancellation and to
do all things necessary to carry out the provisions of section 196.28, F.S.;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, that:
Any and all liens for taxes delinquent or current against the following
described lands, which were purchased through the Neighborhood Stabilization
Program from Fannie Mae a/k/a Federal National Mortgage Association by the
Indian River County Housing Authority are hereby cancelled pursuant to the
authority of section 196.28, F.S.
See attached Special Warranty Deed describing
lands, recorded in Book 2431 at Page 1918, Public
Records of Indian River County, Florida.
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Davis , and
the motion was seconded by Commissioner Flescher , and, upon being put to
a vote, the vote was as follows:

Special Warranty Deed
THIS INDENTURE, made this day of June, 2010 between FANNIE MAE A/K/A FEDERAL
NATIONAL MORTGAGE ASSOCIATION, organized and existing under the laws of the
United States of America, whose address is: 14221 Dallas Parkway, Suite 1000, Dallas, Texas 75254
hereinafter called the Grantor, to INDIAN RIVER COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY
hereinafter called the Grantee, whose mailing address is: 1028 20th Place, Suite C, Vero Beach, FL
32960.
(Wherever used herein the terms "Grantor and Grantee" include the parties to this instrument and their heirs, legal
representatives and assignees of individuals, and assigns of corporations)
WITNESSETH: the Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND 00/100
DOLLARS ($10,00) and other good and valuable consideration, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by
these presents does grant, bargain and sell, alien, remise, release, convey and confirm unto the Grantee, all that
certain land situate in Indian River County Florida, viz:
LOT 27, BLOCK A, VERO LAKES ESTATES UNIT K, ACCORDING TO PLAT THEREOF AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 5, PAGE 83, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA.
Subject to: Restrictions, limitations, conditions, reservations, covenants and easements of
Record, if any, all applicable zoning ordinances, and Taxes for the current year and all
subsequent years.
TOGETHER with all the tenements, hereditament and appurtenances thereto belonging or in otherwise appertaining.
AND the Grantor hereby covenants with said Grantee that it is lawfully seized of said land in fee simple, that it has
good right and lawful authority to sell and convey said land, that it hereby fully warrants the title to said land and will
defend the same against the lawful claims of all persons claiming by, through or under the said Grantor,

The undersigned Agent further states that the below -described Limited Power of Attorney has not been heretofore
revoked by the Principal and is still in full force and effect,
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Grantor has caused these presents to be executed in its' name, and its'
corporate seal to be hereunto affixed, by its proper officers thereunto duly authorized, the day and year first above
written.
Wherever the text in this Deed so requires, the use of any gender shall be deemed to include all genders, and the use
of the singular shall include the plural.
