CHILDREN'S SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE Membership: Consists of 13 voting members who must be residents of Indian River County. The district and at -large members shall have been residents of Indian River County for at least 24 months prior to nomination. A non-voting county staff member is assigned by the County Administrator, acting as the executive officer director. Terms: 4 -year staggered, set by Section 103.22(3), IRC Code. No at -large member shall serve for more than 2 consecutive 4 -year terms.* 6 ex -officio voting members: County Commissioner Peter O'Bryan Judge living in Indian River County designated by Chief Judge of Circuit Court Robert A. Hawley Superintendent of Schools Department of Children and Families, Assistant District Administrator for IRC Vern Melvin Department of Health, County Health Department Administrator Miranda Swanson Law Enforcement officer Deryl Loar 5 voting members from the community ppointed by the Board of County Commissioners, reflecting the geographical and social diversity of the community.
