Fr - <br />JUN 2 0 1984 <br />P R O C L A M A T I O N <br />BOCK 57 rt. -1;!,-: 47 <br />WHEREAS, the American Physical Therapy Association is <br />observing a NATIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY WEEK entitled "Physical <br />Therapy: In Touch With You"; and <br />WHEREAS, in observation of this week is calling special <br />attention to the contribution of physical therapy toward <br />improving the quality of life for disabled and ill Americans; and <br />WHEREAS, the goals of the American Physical Therapy <br />Association of Indian River County are to achieve better lives <br />for our disabled citizens and to promote preventive measures to <br />keep healthy citizens whole through improvement of education, <br />practice and research, and to serve its members through <br />identification, communication and fellowship; and <br />- WHEREAS, the American Physical Therapy Association of Indian <br />River County plays an integral role in continued efforts to <br />assist disabled citizens and holds steadfastly to its commitment <br />to secure better health for all our citizens; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the week of <br />June 17-23, 1984 be designated as <br />PHYSICAL THERAPY WEEK <br />in Indian River County, and urge all public officials and private <br />citizens to join with the physical therapy profession to secure <br />better health care for all our citizens. , <br />ATTEST: <br />t <br />Freda WWr g , Clork <br />16 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />jmwt <br />Don C.
