He further noted that there is no requirement under <br />Florida law that we have two appraisals, and if Mr. Miller <br />would agree to have just one appraisal, that would save the <br />County some money; we could agree to choose an appraiser who <br />would be mutually agreeable. <br />Mr. Miller informed the Board that he would agree to <br />Appraiser Peter Armfield, an A.M.I. appraiser of the firm of <br />Armfield-Houck Appraisers, and Attorney Brandenburg noted <br />that Mr. Armfield has done work for the county in the past. <br />Discussion ensued re a timeframe of three months, and <br />whether Mr. Armfield would be available in that time period. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, to author- <br />ize a 90 -day time period for the appraisal <br />of the subject property and authorize the <br />County Attorney to hire an appraiser mutually <br />agreeable to Roland Miller. <br />Commissioner Lyons only question related to seeing the <br />strip of property we are thinking about purchasing, and <br />Administrator Wright displayed a chart of the area, which <br />the Commission members reviewed. <br />Mr. Miller stated that he would let the County have all <br />the right-of-way except that which he has agreed the school <br />can have. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously (4-0). <br />The several bills and accounts against the County <br />having been audited were examined and found to be correct <br />were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same as <br />41 <br />JUL 3 1984 R0OK 57 F!U- 569 <br />
